Creating and Managing Threads

Basic Thread Creation

Quick Creation Methods:

• Double-click anywhere on the canvas to create a new chat thread
• Right-click on the canvas to access the context menu with all thread options
• Use "Fit View" button (bottom left) to optimize thread visibility

Thread Titles

Smart Naming System:

• Chat Threads: Start as "Untitled" and auto-generate titles based on content
• Document/Image/URL Threads: Automatically use the source name as title
• Edit Anytime: Click any title to modify it
• Undo Support: Title changes show notification toast with "Undo" option

Thread Connections

Create powerful relationships between your ideas:

Connection Methods

• Circular Handles: Use the circular handles on thread edges to create links
• Drag to Connect: Drag from one thread's handle to another to establish connections
• Auto-Creation: Dragging a link without a target automatically creates a new chat thread

Link Styles

Visual indicators show relationship types:

• Solid Lines: Connections between chat threads
• Dashed Lines: Connections between chat and other thread types

Managing Links

• Remove Links: Hover over any link and click the 'X' button that appears
• Visual Feedback: Immediate visual confirmation of connection changes

Adding Context

1. Click "Add Context" button in any chat thread
2. Search Content: Find specific blocks or threads to reference
3. Select Context: Choose desired context to link
4. Remove Context: Re-click selected items or use 'X' icon to remove
